A durable smile that lasts.

Why Get a Dental Exam?

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front surfaces of the teeth. They are an ideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular due to their simplicity and versatility.

Placing custom teeth veneers requires a high degree of technical skill as well as attention to cosmetic detail. Our veneer dentists place veneers routinely and design each case individually to match and enhance the characteristics of each patient’s smile.

Porcelain Veneer Appearance

When bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea, or even cigarette stains. For strength and appearance, their resemblance to healthy, white tooth enamel is unsurpassed by other restorative options.

Porcelain Veneer Appearance

With proper care, porcelain veneers will brighten your smile for well over a decade.

Dr. Victoria Abad, our specialized veneer dentist, will ensure that your veneers are crafted from the highest quality porcelains and are bonded with the most advanced and proven materials available.

Refraining from using your veneers as tools to open and cut things will prolong their life, and if accidental breakage or damage occurs, it is usually possible to replace only the veneer involved.

FAQs

How do I care for my veneers?

Brush your teeth twice daily and use a toothpaste that is approved for veneers. Do not grind your teeth or brush extremely hard when cleaning as you do not want to scratch or chip your veneers.

Can I get a preview of my veneers before they go in?

Our veneer dentist’s office in Norwalk provides you with a preview of your veneers so you can see how you will look after everything is done. Our technology will superimpose the veneers on your current smile to give you the best idea of how you’ll look.

Will I need gum contouring?

Most cases do not require gum contouring to get veneers. Gum contouring is only required for special circumstances. If the gum line is not straight this process can be done and you won’t experience much pain or discomfort.

What foods should I avoid?

While your veneers are still adhering to your teeth you should consider eating softer foods. Avoid anything hard or sticky. Once a few days pass, you can gradually introduce tough foods, and after a few weeks, you can return to your normal eating routine.

Can I brush and floss my teeth after veneers?

You should stick to your normal routine after receiving veneers. Brushing, flossing, and rinsing should be done every day to ensure proper cleaning and health.

Do I still have to come for teeth cleaning and routine checkups?

You should still attend regular checkups with our veneer dentists to ensure your veneers are properly applied. They will also be able to check on the progress of your veneers to see if any modifications need to be done.

Can I eat with Invisalign aligners?

We do not recommend eating with your Invisalign aligners as you can damage the mold and ruin their functionality.

What happens if my Invisalign aligners become damaged?

Contact our office in Norwalk, CA, so our Invisalign dentists can determine the appropriate course of action to keep you on your treatment plan. You might have to wear a previous set of aligners or order replacements.

How long does the Invisalign treatment take?

Although you can see results in a matter of weeks, Invisalign treatment lasts, on average, 18-24 months.
